Sharon is the newest member of The Dental Nurse Network team and will be teaching courses including Introduction to Practice Management and Infection Control.

Sharon Holmes was born in Gauteng, South Africa in 1966, and began her career as medical nurse in Addington Hospital in Durban.

Most of us have suffered from toothache at some point in our lives. It can be debilitating, constant, and excruciating. It is something we would immediately look to address by reaching for pain relief or booking an urgent visit to the dentist. But for many people, this is not possible; 75% of the world’s population do not have access to a dentist.

Dental charity Bridge2Aid is working to change this and we’re delighted to support the charity during 2014 as a Silver Unity Partner.

Part of the TCO role doesn't always involve discussing treatment with new patients, it can mean that you have to deal with situations where patient's are not altogether happy with the treatment they have received.
