This nationally recognised qualification gives you the skills and confidence to take dental radiographs safely and effectively, from bitewings and periapicals to panoramic imaging, under the prescription of a dentist.
Accredited by the British Dental Association (BDA) and approved by the British Society of Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology, and the Society and College of Radiographers, this course provides both the knowledge and the practical experience you need to work independently when taking radiographs.
Through engaging online modules, practical portfolio work in your own practice, and dedicated tutor support, you will gain not only a qualification but also the confidence to contribute more fully to patient care in your dental setting.

Record of Competence Assessment: 10 panoramic, 10 pairs of bitewings, 20 paralleling technique periapical’s.
Tests: The course includes quizzes, a moc exam and final exam delivered by BDA.
