Overview
Master both traditional and digital impressions in one course. This combined discounted accredited certificate brings together impression-taking and intra-oral scanning training.
This course is ideal for dental nurses who aspire to treat patients directly by taking alginate impressions and digital intra-oral scans under the prescription of a registered dentist or clinical dental technician. It is suitable for dental nurses working in both private dental practices and the National Health Service (NHS).
You will learn to take both conventional alginate impressions and digital intra-oral scans across a wide range of uses, from study models, orthodontic appliances, retainers, whitening trays, dentures and mouth guards, to capturing baseline records and using scans as a tool for oral health education and promotion. Whichever method your practice relies on, you will have the skills, and the confidence, to deliver it.
This course is only suited to those who have access to impression materials and a digital scanner.
