I suggest you get in touch with the GDC and explain your situation. A friend of mine used her old workmate's address as her registered address as she had a safety problem with her details being public.

I need to re-register, as i have been out of nursing while i did something else (disaster), so i let my registration lapse as i didnt think id need it... however, i want to go back to nursing and do some additional qualifications HOWEVER.... this business of my home address being visible to whoever wants it via google is really, really, an issue for me... for genuine safety, not big brother issues. Are there any options....? I need to register to apply for work (unless i go back as a trainee for £2.50 p/h... so i dont think so), and most courses need you to be in emplyment .... any ideas anyone?
