Starting Apprenticeship in Dental nursing in 3 weeks time, a little nervous!

Hello everyone! My names Rachel and I am due to start my Dental Nurse Apprenticeship with Bupa in 3 weeks time!

I am a little bit nervous as this my first proper job, mainly about working with new people and making mistakes, what if I don't fit in or don't understand the course content? I have completed a different level 3 diploma so am perfectly capable of working to that level so not sure why I am so worried!.

I would just like some insight perhaps on what I can expect on my first day as an apprentice and any other tips other nurses may have for someone who is just starting their journey to becoming a Dental nurse!

I also have a couple of questions which would be great if anyone could answer them

- Can i wear a watch? i understand jewellery such as rings are not allowed but can i wear a wristwatch? I was considering getting a smart-watch but don't want to splash out if I can hardly wear it

- Is foot wear provided? or do I need to invest in a comfy pair of shoes before I start?
