Considering becoming a self-employed Locum Dental Nurse?

BTW it seems a lot of nurses have returned since the dreaded COVID SOP was revoked 27 May. We still use all our air purifiers. But other than that we immediately returned to normal Apart from our hygienist who still opts for the full gown and FFP3

I went self-employed for a few years. I invoiced daily. The main thing is to choose your customers wisely. if they decide not to pay, how will you compel them?

In England 20/hour would be the expected rate. Agencies charge the practice 23/hour for a nurse, 22/hour for a receptionist.

I am considering going alone and becoming a self-employed locum dental nurse in South Wales.

I cant seem to find any when searching on Facebook, but a lot in England?

Are any of you locums? Would love to get some tips on charging? Have you become a lot more busier, as it seems nearly 50% of Dental Nurses have not stayed on the GDC register this year - as have left the profession since Covid.
