I have been a qualified dental nurse for 8 years. I took a few years out to have my family and I am currently in the process of registering again with the GDC. I have noticed a large amount of dental nurse jobs available and have saw many DCPs commenting on how many nurses are leaving the profession due to lack of support, increased demand of CPD and poor pay.
What are peoples thoughts is it worth going back to dental nursing? And have you noticed and increase of dental nurses leaving the profession?
