Conscious Sedation Course?

A place i use to work at had a nurse who had done the full sedation course and she was able to place cannulas etc. unsure if she could actually administer but i know she could put them in and do all the other bits and bobs.. It was a year + long course i think.. have a look around (may i add she did the course a long time ago)

Hello, just a quick question. Are Dental Nurses able to further qualify to administer and monitor sedation within the dental setting? I know we can train to assist but what about actually administer? Also are we able to train to place a cannula ? I ask because I had a dental nurse administer sedation to me before within a CareUK hospital. Thanks
