Hep B Vaccine

It is quite possible that a course may give lifelong immunity. However, it is recommended that people (dental nurses) at continuing risk of infection should be offered a single booster dose of vaccine, once only, around five years after primary immunisation. Measurement of hepatitis B surface antibody (anti-HBs) levels is not required either before or after this dose. hope this helps :)

no one has authority, it is an ADVICE forum. im sure the lady in question will be getting all the necessary information from her employers and/or the place where she has the inoculation's , she probably just wanted some other opinions from nurses who have had them, before she spoke to her employers regarding this :D

Hello,
Have your tests done and if needs be contact the LOCAL authority and talk to them.
There is no "general rules" as some people are different and workplaces are different.

I am sure they will answer your questions.
No one here have the authority to do really...

you have to have a blood test and the antibody levels from your blood have to be a 100 or over :)

If you don't have any contact with patients clinically or do any clinical work you shouldn't need to have hep B vaccinations. :)
