Going back to work.

I wouldn't be surprised if you have to "retrain" and do one of the DN qualifications as you've been out so long.

I think you'd probably be better off getting an office job.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I'm hoping to return to work as a self employed (locum) dental nurse. ( I hopefully already have a part time job lined up for the new year if I can get organized)

I'm a qualified dental nurse but have been out of practice for 6 years to raise my family.
I know we now need to be regitered and insured to work but can anyone give me any info on what I need to do to begin working again and any costs etc.

Also do I need to do a 'back to work' type refresher course or anything.

Thanks in advance for any help all the info I'm finding online is for dental nurses just starting out.
