RoE help

Hi
I have returned to dental nursing after 20+ years and have started my course for the NEBDN exam - my poor old brain!!.
I have started my PER's and so far have found it not too tricky. However, I'm not sure how much I have to write for some! For instance, I am about to write up my PER for local anaesthetic - do I need to write up the whole of the treatment which took place or just how I prepared the local, monitored the patient etc?
I'm sure it will become easier as I get more experienced in writing them.
Any help much appreciated xx
