sedation and special care courses

Hiya

does anyone here work with special need patients regularly or work in sedation nursing?
i've applied for a position in hospital on the sedation and special care department.
i've had plenty of sedation experience but not as much special needs but i find this area very interesting and think it would be a welcome challenge.

i know some of you have done the sedation course. how about the special care nursing course?
i've had a look on the nebdn website and both course look very intense to say the least,especially the special care one!
