Help re rejoining as a dental nurse

Your best bet is to call the GDC and they will talk you through what you need to do. I think I must've phoned them 3 or 4 times with new questions!

I am in the process of applying to re-join the register and have to present 80 hours of non verifiable and 30 hours of verifiable. You might be different though.

Contact GDC and ask them how many hours they require.

Hi everyone,

I am looking for advice on returning to dental nursing after a few years out of work having children. I did not keep up with my CPD during this time as I wasn't planning on going back to dental nursing. Now that I have been out of it for a while I would like to return to it but I'm unsure on how to go about this without my CPD. Can you just do online courses to make up the hours or is this no good as they haven't been done consistently during my time off? Any advice would be great. Thank you
