The trainee will learn at college but will need support from someone in the work place as they wont know what they are doing. I have trained 3 nurses and had no experience in training anyone before. I'd take it as a compliment that they trust you and your experience! is there anyone else who could train them? If you need any advice on training tips them I'm happy to help. don't worry too much, its their responsibility as well as yours to make sure they are listening and learning properly, the dentist should also have an input in their training
as a qualified dental nurse for 15+ years , I have been told ( not asked ) that I am to train the new trainee ,I have no training experience ,am I allowed to do this. I feel like im being pushed into something im unsure about doing.
