Changing the chemicals while pregnant???

Thank you for the links! I did spoke with my manager about this and he said that I should wear a face mask!!!! For my baby's safe I do not want to take any risk!

If you are worried about it I would speak to your manager or principal dentist. If it's practical to avoid something whilst pregnant for piece of mind there shouldn't be a problem.

I had a look on the website of one of the major automatic developer manufacturers, they provide safety data sheets for their chemicals.

I'm assuming the chemical composition is more or less the same no matter what method you use.


Worth a read, and info to show your manager. Section 16 on each sheet might be of use

Hello to all DNR's! I'm pregnant and I would like to know if it's safe to change the chemicals in the developer? I've done a research online but I couldn't find anything related to dentistry, all I found is in general saying that there is a risk being expose to toxic chemicals! Any advices are more then welcome!
