Orthodontics - the instruments used

8 years 3 weeks ago #7284 by Teesey
Hi Ditzy_dentalnurse

I found when I was in training quite a few years ago that the dental nurses instrument book helped me with all my instruments, I bought mine from Amazon and im sure it has all the instruments that a dental nurse is likely to need in it ie Ortho. My trainee has it at present and its helped her leaps and bounds.

Hope this helps.

If you get one of the product catalogue from an ortho company it will have most instruments in it pluss all the other ortho related products like separators, power chain etc.. DB ortho is a good one

Hello

I was wanting to do some further learning/research into orthodontics as although im qualified whenever i do orthodontics the dentist asks for an instrument and i just look blank at him.
Does anyone have a book with this information in that they can scan?
