Hep B vaccine can anyone explain?

You can start working after your 1st injection. Like Sophomoreslump I started working in my previous surgery before I had my first injection as I was pressurised to, and was a little niave - I would not have done this in hindsight, it is just not worth the risk. Having had a needlestick injury (fortunately after my 3rd injection) and knowing how it makes you feel, I would say stick with the rules, and wait until after your 1st injection.

If I remember right, you can start to work in surgery as soon as you have the first injection but you must continue with the other injections as instructed :)

Hey, when I started dental nursing I was working before I had my injection. So you should be fine.

Yes there are 3 injections and I worked from start to finish through all of them x
