DNN Online Impression Taking Course

No the fluoride course wasn't online. My previous post explains it all.

I got a confirmation email for the impression course a few days after I paid for it.

Ive signed up for the 1st july...paid for it but had no confirmation from DNN... Not really sure what the next step is....do i wait until 1st July?
I am looking forward to doing this! half the price of other ones i have required about.

Never seen the fluoride course...would have done that
was the fluoride course online?

Hi, I booked it through the South West Deanery.

It was a one day course (9-4.30 type thing) held at a practice in Gloucestershire. We did the theory side of fluoride and then we practised on each other with toothpaste. Then we had to take away an ROE and do a minimum of 10 patients under the supervision of the Dentist. Then we had an OSCE about 2 months later. The OSCE wasn't too bad, just had to apply 'fluoride' (it was toothpaste) to another nurse and then answer some questions about it. We got told if we passed straight after.

I think Cavity do the course but you have to go to Reading.

For the South West, they have put it together with the Disclosing solution one, so you cannot do the fluoride course on its own now.

Anyone else doing this course?

I've been wanting to do an impression course for ages after doing the fluoride one. I hate OSCE's so I'm glad there isn't one for this.
