Impression materials help

9 years 11 months ago #6166 by Ekw
Hiya,

There are different types of putty, hard putty, soft putty and light and heavy bodied some are mixed by hand and also in a machine such as a pentamix as well as in a gun. There is a difference in the ingredients I think there are silicon based and polyvinyl. I think if your getting nothing out of your levison get on to the likes of dental directory or whoever you order from and email your rep? Does you practice see their rep regularly? If not I'm happy to email mine and get some info for you?
I am assuming you'll be tested in the knowledge of the difference in them and what they'd be used for? I had the same question from our trainees recently I went through the leaflets with them I'll check and see if they found anything additional.
