I would say split the book into a chapter a week or if you can a chapter a day i would then highlight the key terms or notes and/or write the pages out just so you can remember the parts.
then i have a a-z notebook where i have my keywords and i write out it pages at a time
I then have keyword flash cards so say one side of the card has something like amalgam and on the otherside what amalgam is and then i look at the card and write down what i think it is and then turn the card over to check the answer.
Also on levison website itself they have practice tests for the different chapters that you can do to see which chapters you need to work on more.

Also maybe special rhymes or sayings might help

I am in the same boat i have an exam in june/july
