Botox

dental nurses can definatly NOT do botox. it is not within our scope of practice. dentists and or dental therapists can do courses to do botox and have to have the relivent insurance once qualified. :)

All courses are for dentists only, as far as I'm aware DCP's are not allowed to do it.
I know some courses advertise that the dentist can bring a nurse along so they understand what happens and then they can talk to the patients about it prior to the procedure but that's all.

Hi nurses, does anyone know is DCP's are allowed to train in botox procedures? Iv seen nurses advitising their botox but I am yet to find a course that allows a DCP to qualify.
