Dental nurse in a hospital

11 years 6 months ago #2909 by Ekw
Hi there,

I agree with vicki Nhs jobs will be where u need to look at. You could email or phone the hospitals principal dental nurse/ dental nurse manager ask if there are any positions to come up soon or if you could have a visit organised to observe. I work in hospital in Edinburgh and I was up against a fair few other dental nurses so they can get very popular if it's a position in oral surgery they will more often need a nurse with their sedation certificate as they have IV sessions.
Good luck with the hunt! Hope u get the job your wanting.

hi i would register yourself on nhs jobs and once you have registered they will alert you when jobs you have picked become avalable you can fill a cv in online and then just apply for as many as you like. you dont need any post quals (unless stated in the job specification) sometimes hospitals ask for a years experience after you have qualified. if you have a look at previous posts there is information on hospital work as i have wrote a reply to a nurse who asked for information :)
