Our new Foundation Certificate in Dental Nursing

FOUNDATION CERTIFICATE DENTAL NURSINGAre you thinking about delving into the world of dental nursing, but are not quite ready to take the plunge into a full qualification? Or are you an employer, uncertain about an employee's path forward as an aspiring dental nurse or their commitment to the role? Let's embark on an exploration of Dental Nurse Network's new foundation course in Dental Nursing and what that could mean for you.

The foundation training gives full access to modules, tests, resources and theoretical training of the NEBDN National Diploma in Dental Nursing. It does not give access to the full qualification which includes an eRoE and examinations and it does not lead to GDC registration.

With twelve months of access and an optional one-on-one call, participants have the flexibility to explore at their own pace. Here's a bonus: if they decide to enroll in the full qualification within twelve months, the course fee can be deducted from the total cost.

For Aspiring Dental Nurses

If you are considering a career as a dental nurse, the foundation course serves multiple purposes. Not only does it provide a deeper insight into the role, but it also grants you certificates that can enhance your job applications. Furthermore, it sends a clear signal to prospective employers that you are dedicated to pursuing a career as a dental nurse.

Information for Employers

Employers considering transitioning their staff into dental nursing can use these courses to assess their capabilities before making substantial investments in their education.

For employers who have recently taken on a new trainee, we highly recommend enrolling them in an introductory/foundation course as a preliminary step. This ensures that they are genuinely committed to the learning process before proceeding with full training, which is non-refundable regarding NEBDN fees. We particularly advise the introduction/foundation course if the trainee has been with your organization for three months or less. Additionally, it's worth noting that if you decide to enroll them in the full NEBDN qualification within 12 months, you can deduct the fee paid for the introduction course from the total qualification cost.
