Mouthwash Tablets

Well - sometimes children drink the pink water instead of rinsing with it which does bother the parents.
It saves time/money and reduces the frequency of rinsing/spitting if you only give a beaker of water if the patient requests it. It seems most people have forgotten about COVID now but still fewer aerosols are better.
Plain water means the patient can either rinse or have a drink to settle a tickly throat.
And if your spittoon has any crack or flaw the pink colour will stain the area and you'll need to get the bleach out occasionally to remove it.

But no big deal. Patients seem to like it (I think it's nostalgia).

Bit of a random one ....

I just started at a new practice that use thymol pink mouthwash tablets.

However, the last two practices I have worked at one stopped using them and the other wouldn't use them.

I cannot remember if there was a reason behind not using them and if anyone can jog my memory?

:cheer:
