Hi ladies/Gents,
I am trying to clarify what people are currently doing with their TST strips.
We do the following:
1. Morning Validation when testing the sterilizers even if they have a printout.
2. TST strip placed on each tray that is serialized and discarded once the tray has been used. (Leaving on the tray once bagged)
I have looked in the HTM and aside from the morning validation and each cycle test it doesn't state (unless I have missed it).
Is there a requirement to have a strip maintained on all the sterilized trays or can it be discarded before bagging?
Just wanting clarification as some of our Dental Centres are doing a different process. Just wanting to achieve standardization throughout our Dental Practices
