Home visits!

My dentist always drove.

You do have to have business insurance if you use your car for business purposes but you can then claim mileage from the tax office

Hi there i currently work for nhs scotland and we provide home visits and normally the dentist would use their car but sometimes the nirse can also depending on the circumstances...i personally can i never have and never will but if needed i would-also for insurance purposes i think you need to have buisness insurance on the car? Because after all you are using the car for buisness purpose

Hope this helps :)

When doing home visits to patients who should drive, dentist or nurse?

I'd say dentist as a nurse doesn't get paid anything for using their petrol or diesel.

Am I wrong to say to the dentist they should drive?

I dontwant to be ignorant but just think if a nurse should drive they should be paid extra.

Opinions please!
