GDC Development Outcomes met: A

This activity aims to help you: 

• be aware of your responsibilities regarding safeguarding for children, young adults and vulnerable adults in the dental practice; 
• know the appropriate steps to take if you suspect abuse.

Its objectives are to make sure you can: 

• name the main laws and regulations relating to safeguarding;
• identify the different types of abuse and the characteristics associated with them;
• explain what should be in place at your practice regarding safeguarding; 
• list the steps to take if you suspect abuse.

This e-learning CPD activity requires you to read information and answer test questions with a 80% pass required. You have unlimited attempts available to pass this activity.
