Dental Hygiene access course

4 years 8 months ago #8993 by Wolsey1612
Hello, so I am currently undertaking an access course tailored to dental hygiene in order to get into uni (2020). I was wondering if anybody on here has made the step from dental nurse to hygienist and if anybody wouldn't mind sharing their experiences and qualifications they had to get in. I have just sent off my ucas app and I'm really nervous I won't get in as I got rejected 2 years ago. I have been qualified for nearly 3 years. I am 21 so I'm classed as a mature student. So yeah, stories and experience and grades are welcome pleaseee!! I am also currently a lead dental nurse in my practice- I have dental nursing, maths, english, still doing my access course and have an impressions course.

Thanks in advance!!
