Cpd

Hi I feel your dentist is simply checking up on his nurses. Even though it is our responsibility to do our cpd it is also his responsibility to make sure his nurses are properly trained and carrying out their standards regarding gdc registration. I print out every copy of the hours I do and its all in a folder organised. So its very easy to pull it out and show who ever has asked to see it. Hope this helps. Its so important especially the now with covid 19 that everything is kept up to date.

Hi all. I'm wondering what others do regarding their cpd files. Our principle has asked to see all our cpd in this cycle and each new piece of cpd when its completed. As its not being paid for by him and is free on linefor core subjects, whats his issue? Surely the onus is on us nurses to complete cpd ourselves as its our name on the register? What are peoples views?
