We are delighted to introduce Brogan as our Student of the Month for March.
Brogan began her journey with us in February 2024, having previously tried other routes into dental nursing. The road to qualification was not an easy one. She faced significant health challenges along the way, including a period in hospital, yet she remained focused and kept in regular contact with the team throughout. That determination paid off. In November 2025 she passed her NEBDN written exam on her first attempt, followed shortly after by her NEBDN OSCE, again on her first attempt. She is now preparing to register with the GDC, all while expecting her first baby.
When we asked what kept her going, Brogan spoke warmly about her family and her colleagues at Weston Dental, who believed in her even when she struggled to believe in herself. She also spoke about the support she received from the team here, which clearly meant a great deal to her. It is easy to see why she loves the profession. She told us her favourite part of dental nursing is working with a team that genuinely cares, and seeing patients leave happy.
Looking ahead, Brogan is keen to keep progressing and taking on new courses. Her advice to other students reflects everything her own journey has taught her: keep pushing yourself, because every achievement builds your confidence and your belief in what you are capable of. And never settle when you could achieve more.
From everyone at Dental Nurse Network, congratulations Brogan. You have absolutely earned this.
